I've found that producing diffs ultimately loses time, rather than
gains any -- my time, in producing them, and other people's time,
in having to apply them, and then something inevitably goes wrong,
and I have to regenerate them, and put them out again, and ...
Blah. I prefer to avoid the whole thing.
If someone else would like to prepare and maintain diffs, they
are of course welcome to. I can make them available on ftp.cs.umb.edu.
